I have been coming since I moved in this area and simply AHHHMAZING, service & food! Food is always and I repeat always cooked to order. Always HOT & FRESH!! The BEST batter ever! I've eaten at several Hartz and this is far the BEST! I have always received EXCELLENT customer service no matter who was servicing me. Love love this location

This location of Hartz Chicken Buffet looks brand new. It is located about 100 yards away from their old location on 1960 that was dumpy looking like so many of their stores here. However, I have always thought their food was ok for what it is so I decided to stop by for lunch last Sunday. I probably average eating at a Hartz 1-2 times a year and have always found it to be acceptable.
The building is nice and new inside and is either a new building or an excellent remodeling of an older building. Inside, everything was clean and sparkly. If you want the buffet, it's actually quite affordable as adult prices before tax are less than $10 and lower for seniors and kids. Counter service was friendly and professional. The buffet line was immaculate and included the standard chicken both fried and baked along with fried fish, fried gizzards and livers, several veggies and a couple of desserts along with a separate salad bar and of course a self serve drink machine. My meal was good in taste and of course if you want more just grab another styrofoam container and begin round 2.
For the money and taste, this is a hard place to beat for a fast food meal that isn't a burger and fries or tacos. -

I have eaten dinner here the past 4 Fridays. The food has been fresh and delicious on every visit. The staff has been courteous and willing to refresh the buffet upon request. Local news plays on the tv and the temperature of the room is pleasent. The price is moderate and there is a good chance I'll be back here for dinner next Friday afternoon.
The soft serve icecream machine has not been working the past two weeks. Thus I deducted one star. -

Owners are rude! Worst customer service! Accusing a paying customer of stealing. Until I told the cashier that I had paid her exact change and had the receipt for proof. Just very uncomfortable having the owners looking at your table and making ugly faces and talking about you behind the counter.
